Recently refurbished, decent-sized rooms with balconies and comfortable beds; great location in a particularly good area.

The view from the room is great, the breakfast excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful (charming ladies)

Unfortunately, I didn't care for this hotel... It seems like a nice enough place but there is plenty to complain about once you have stayed there. Apon arrival, our room was not ready, it smelled like vomit the entire time in that room. I didn't like that guests in the next room could so easily access our room from the connecting balcony. The town of Freiburg is nice, but the location of this hotel isn't as far away and in the woods as the pictures show... The restraunt in the hotel served a nice, but expensive breakfast and had a horrible and expensive dinner menu. The pool was freezing cold... There's much more, but I've ran out of room to type it here...

The location here is fantastic, close to the mountains and various restaurants, offering a stunning view from a hill overlooking the city.

This hotel is my favorite in Freiburg im Breisgau. the rooms are well-organized. - the location is particularly good, being adjacent to a grocery store, the center of Freiburg, the lake, restaurants. - the staff is super-friendly and outstandingly accommodating. - They respond quickly to my needs. - the breakfast options are absolutely fantastic and astonishing.

Stayed at this hotel before, but this time room was looking a bit run down and tired. Recommend some renovation. Everything cost extra WIFI, breakfast, etc...

The hotel is ideally situated for walks in the forest, food is excellent, even room service. The rooms have a superb view and are cosy, clean and have a large terrace. We spent 10 nights there and did not regret it. Also, you can drink tea (both hot and iced) whenever you feel like it. Breakfast buffet was elaborate, real champagne included. And last but not least, our dog was really welcome, even in the beautiful restaurant!

Too bad that there is no public transport between the hotel and the town center and no regular shuttle service either. So we took a cab whenever we wanted to go into town. But approximately 10 euros for 3 people and a dog is a reasonable price.

The location here is fantastic, within walking distance to restaurants and bars, close to the city center, and offering a beautiful view from the balcony in the room, creating a comfortable atmosphere.

Fantastic position overlooking Freiburg. A high-quality hotel with excellent spa facilities, very good restaurant, friendly staff. Would have liked to have stayed longer.

Well above the centre of Freiburg, so not so easy to pop into town.

The view from the room was magnifecent. The room size was quite larg and the hotel layout in general is nice. Staff are very nice and helpful.

The bathroom was too small. I never expected such size !!

The stay here was relaxing for a vacation, with wonderful weather and a beautiful location surrounded by a bakery and shops within walking distance.
